Grief is like love

One page Comic on grief with words from Jamie Anderson | copyright Marijke van Veldhoven 2024

Grief

The first time I felt real grief is when my dad died. I was 27 years old and did not know what to do with everything I felt.

That a person stops being in this world is weird. And grief is a difficult emotion. I came across these words from Jamie Anderson and I loved them immediately. Sometimes the right words can help you understand what's going on, and soften those sharp edges.

Feel free to send this comic (or anything else) to someone who is grieving. Or who lost someone a while ago. Grief never goes away entirely.
